Fighting for Your Marriage

Win the big battle over your marriage

Repair, Restore, Revitalize

Fighting for your marriage is one of the big battles in the fight of your life. We help couples repair, restore, and revitalize their marriages and become connected like never before.
Many problems can be addressed through marriage counseling and your spouse doesn’t even have to participate (although we prefer they do).  Common marriage problems include: criticism, negativity, technology use, past hurts, repeated arguments, alcohol use, sexual problems, parenting, value conflicts, emotional disconnect, extended family, addiction, codependency, conflict, mistrust, pornography, resentment, infidelity, work-life balance, and communication.
Address these issues and live the life you love. Marriage counseling will equip you with principles and skills that make marriage work no matter what you face. At Leadershop, we believe marriage is worth the fight.

How Marriage Counseling Works

We will teach you how to fight for your marriage so you can go the distance. Making your marriage work takes a lot of different tools and you have to know how and when to use them. Our counseling approach helps you apply specific tools to the challenges you face while trying to live your life. marriage counseling is tailor made for you. Marriage counseling moves through 3 stages in our plan of care, crisis reduction, corrective care, and wellness care.

Plan of Care

Crisis Reduction

The stage of crisis reduction is like an emergency room. It is stressful, chaotic, and brief. You go in dying but you come out alive. You are stitched up but still hurting. Still at risk.

Corrective Care

This stage works on correcting what is wrong. Corrective care gets you straightened out and pointed in the right direction.  This can be a challenging stage. Corrective care gets you to stop doing unloving, disrespectful or ineffective things and begin using the tools that will repair, restore, and revitalize your marriage. You will develop a compelling vision you both want to give your life to. You will learn how to make marriage work.

Wellness Care

The final stage is wellness care and it is the implementation of everything you have learned over a period of time. We want people to have successful marriages so we support and encourage you through through email, text, face to face sessions, group experiences, social media, and workshops.

How to Get Started

You don’t have to know what to say or how to start. We will talk you through it.

What to Expect

First Session

The first session is an opportunity to get to know each other, share stories, download what’s been happening, and formulate a plan of care and complete some paperwork. This takes about an hour and a half. The cost is $150.

Following Sessions

The second and following sessions are 45 minutes to an hour long. Most people schedule this within a week of the first session because of the crisis care they need. This session and all regular sessions are $100.

Length of Care

Everyone responds differently to care. This makes a difference in the length of care they need. That being said, if your marriage is in crisis you should consider devoting the next year to fighting for your marriage.  This may sound like a lot, and at times it will feel like it, but it really is worth it.
